The Seasons of Love

Love is grand in any season.
Love can be grand in the fall
When cold winds begin to blow
And warm kisses keep the chill away
As colorful leaves
Swirl about and there is no doubt
That love will grow warmer still.

In the dead of winter
Love must be passionately hot
To melt away the snow and ice
And keep one warm
Throughout the cold winter night.

Then just as suddenly
The snow melts away
Spring breezes herald
That all is fresh and new
Like the morning dew
And love can begin again
Making an old love
Feel born once more.

Summer dances in
Hot days and blazing blue skies
Days lazy and hazy
Kisses hot and crazy
Love on the sand
And in the waves

Who can say when love is best
As long as it is everlasting
When put to the test
Love that endures every season
Is to be treasured
Beyond all measure.
