The Sea of Understanding

Lately I've been drowning in the sea of understanding
Just looking for the reason and perhaps a bit of light
While I wander here alone and broken along this faded track
Smiling when I think of you, lighting up the ruthless black
It seems when ever your on my mind I can see the light
But once I think of being trapped it disappears from my sight
So I just think about you once again, and then is reappears
Giving me the peace I long for and swallowing my fears
But I wonder why I'm stuck in this horrid nightmare
Oh well... why do I care? I'll just think about you some more.
Your the answer to all my problems, my sweet sedative

I can feel the air awakening my lungs, oh how they so badly craved for it
The light that shoots trough all this hate as far as it'd permit
I can't believe I was really so blind as to not see it before
A smile engraved upon my face as I slowly wash ashore.
