The Right Choice: Chapter 1

I have decided that the chapters will be in POVs switching between Sophia and Dante, though sometime other will be included. Hope you enjoy.

Sophias POV:

I stared in complete shock, wonder and disgust as my dad tells me that I have to move from our cool Manhattan penthouse loft in New York to Miami Beach, Florida. He starts talking about the big opportunity this is for him and his career and how nice a change of scenery would do to us but all I hear is blah blah we have to move blah blah blah to Florida blah blah in a week.

WHAT A WEEK – I scream – U expect me to just change school in the middle of the year, leave my friends and everything in a week, that is so unfair. What about mom if we leave how will she find us?

Your mom will find us and if she doesn't I will leave her a note with the reception, ok? – said my dad, already getting angry at me, I know I can be difficult sometimes.

By the way, my mom doesn't live with us, her demonic nature doesn't let her stay in one place too long without feeling uncomfortable, I understand my dad explained that the lillum have commitment issues so I don't blame her and neither does he. We have gotten used to her popping in and out of our lives.

Whatever - I said stomping in to my room and slamming the door shut, I'm just so mad, I grab my ipod and start listening to heavy metal it always calms me down. Soon I'm asleep having a nightmare about my soon to be new life.

Oh well who ever said life was fair, right?

Dantes POVs: (a week later from Sophias)

I walk over to the entrance of the school, which after the two weeks of winter vacation I almost missed, ALMOST. Waiting for me are my buds, Chris and Jake.

Hey man whats up- said Jake.

Nothing, and u guys? - I said

Just chilling and waiting for the bell to ring - said Chris

What u do on your vacation, u like disappeared for the whole two weeks? - said Jake to me.
Nothing just went with my dad to Los Angeles on one of his business trips, u know boring stuff - I said, if only they knew what I really did.

I spent the entire two weeks chasing the demon Hasgard who had possessed a house wife from Kansas. I was fun but I was tired and just wanted to get back to the normal life.

Hey dude did u guys hear about the new girl? - said Chris

Isn't it weird to move now to a new school I mean half the year is over already- said Jake.

I heard shes a goth - said Chris.

Great what the world needs another person to depress everyone - I said sarcastically, its not a hate issue, I just don't like goths, my life is dark enough without someone to depress it even more. And then I saw her walking to the entrance, and to tell you the truth, she looked hot, she was wearing a dark jeans and a black T shirt that said I know I'm crazy what r u?, but what really caught me were her eyes, so icy blue. Just as she walked by me she saw me and gave me a this smile which I gotta say was sexy. Maybe one more goth in this school wont be so bad especially if shes so hot.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, the school bell rang.

Come on I don't wanna be late for math you know how Mr. Stevens gets - said Chris. And with that we all went in.

For some reason I had the feeling today was going to be anything but boring.
