The Quinceanera Fiesta Is Your Garden In Bloom
Learn how to plan your garden themed Quinceanera to include all manner of lovely delights.
Whatever you're planning, the garden theme is a delightful way to combine many different styles and motifs together, to create an outdoor - or indoor - event. The garden them all by itself encourages your guests to feel charmed but also completely comfortable while they enjoy themselves.
The garden theme is also one of the hottest themes today for Quinceanera fiestas, debutante balls, and even wedding receptions and baby showers. The garden party idea dates back to the time of Queen Victoria of England. That era, known as the Victorian Age, is famous today for its elegance and refined yet delicate sense of beauty.
Finding the right garden venue
The garden theme can take place outside in a real garden, in a ballroom, or really any venue designed to contain all the charm of a springtime arboretum in bloom.
Many public or semi-private gardens might be available to host your even in your area. Some public museums and art galleries also include outdoor spaces where you can stage your own event. These kinds of places normally have to have reservations months in advance, though, so you should plan ahead accordingly.
Public parks are also a lovely and potentially free venue. Check with your city or county Parks Department before going ahead with other arrangements, however.
Fiesta Garden Decorations
The garden decorations can follow your own unique vision, but they should ideally include as many flowers and plants as reasonably possible. Other traditional elegant garden elements include wrought iron "café" tables and chairs, vases filled with blooming flowers or topiary, and guest favors of small candles or potpourri.
You can also use one long, rectangular central dining table strewn with flowers and ivy and lined with vase centerpieces, if you'd like everyone to enjoy the fiesta feast together.
A fairy tale garden fiesta
Fairy tale elements lend themselves very naturally to the garden theme, as so many of their colors and patterns match up and coordinate with perfect agreement. The fairy tale elements you choose can range from horse carriage candles at each place setting to the style and structure of your Quinceanera gown. This "enchanted garden" approach works amazingly well to create luxury and sophistication at your fiesta.
