The Quest To Deberia - Part 2

(No description) Just kidding part 2 told from Rupert's point of view.
It's not fair. Thought Rupert bitterly as he picked up the ashes off the floor of the fireplace. That my aunt gets whatever she wants and when she wants it when I am merely a servant to her, a boy to pick on whenever she's feeling angry. And I didn't mean to burn her petticoats. Frankly, if I had the chance and not gotten in trouble I would've burned ALL of her clothes. She is mean and cold and does not deserve to be a princess. In the story-books Mother read me when I was younger the princesses were bold and nice with long blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes. Skye is none of that.

"Rupert." Rupert looked up from picking at his fingernails and saw his father, Skye's older brother, look at him meaningfully. "Pay attention to Mistress Skye."
"As I was saying..." Skye began her endless ramble again, and Rupert stared at her, but did not pay attention. He was in one of the palace's many empty rooms, this one magnificent, with real live oak trees planted in solid gold pots and a fireplace so tall and elegant it was bigger than Rupert himself. No one ever went in here. Except Skye. And THAT was only when she wanted to.

He had been in here since 3:30 exactly. Now it was 4:59 and 56, 57, 58, 59 seconds, and now it was 5:00. Skye was rambling on and on about how Rupert disobeyed her orders and sent her petticoats burning. Of course, Rupert's trusting father did not believe that, he believed the quite true tale Rupert had told, but he had to act like he believed Skye. What a waste of emotions.
