The Psychology of Eye and Wrinkle Creams

This article takes a first hand look into just how much the mind plays a role in the success a consumers perceives of his eye cream or wrinkle cream. There are many surprising tricks the mind can play, and some of the ones pertaining to our self image are discussed in this insightful article. You may want to read this before deciding if the wrinkle cream you're using is actually doing anything or not.
For those of you who are unaware, I am an author about numerous topics about wrinkle creams and eye cream reviews. I often comment on the types of ingredients that are most effective, or even what the most current and up to date treatments are.

Many people often wonder how is it that I am constantly intrigued by the subtle nuances of wrinkle creams, or the slightest difference in the results they provide. The truth is that I actually enjoy the science involved as well as the psychological effects that a simple cream can provide to users. Today, we examine all that excites me, and keeps me present throughout my days in this industry.

To begin it makes the most sense to discuss how I came to find all this stuff interesting. Yes, though it may be cliché, I did begin my interest by using an eye cream or wrinkle cream that actually made a difference. For those of you who have not been successful in finding one, you can imagine my relief. The truth is that it was a strange way that I came around to notice the results. I am somewhat of a realist when it comes to things and I understood that healing wrinkles was going to be a process, not just finding one product that worked miracles all within minutes. I sort of understood that I was going to need a few months of treatments to really see dramatic improvement in the condition of my skin.

So I found the product I wanted by reading many reviews, etc. and began the use imagining that I would continue for at least three to four months. By the end of month one I was frustrated again, and then it occurred to me. You cannot stare in the mirror all day long wondering if the wrinkles are going away. The healing of a wrinkle is gradual, just like weight gain or weight loss, and the only way to actually notice the difference is to stop looking for a while. Now I understand that you look in the mirror daily, but you do not have to really stare at your wrinkles and make strange faces in an attempt to notice differences. So I committed to not "looking" for two months, making the next time I checked for results three months into the treatment. Wow! What a difference. I was looking at a brand new person.

Then I realized that the process that I went through to find the results that I had is not the one most commonly traveled. Many people use free trials of products, and try them for a month at a time and then stop as they see no results. Many people fail, even, to do the proper research necessary to know what product they are going to use. And everyone stares in the mirror to see if these things are working.

If these very simplistic steps were out of whack for consumers, what else was missing from their eye wrinkle treatment? The answer was staggering. The average consumers know very little about the products that they are using or why the product works. They cannot name the active ingredient or the process with which it heals. They may not even know that a wrinkle is a wound that needs to be healed, just like a burn or a cut. This astounding lack of knowledge within such a hugely popular industry seemed odd and it was a void that needed to be filled.

That began my interest and the rest really just followed afterwards, the processes and ingredients that honestly work are not very abundant, and once you know all there is to know about them you find the actual healing and removal of wrinkles rather simple.

But in the process I found myself wondering about what causes someone to want to use a wrinkle cream, or when it does work for someone, how does that effect them? What makes people purchase a wrinkle cream because they hear a celebrity used it, even though that celebrity is not pictured or named? What types of creams deliver the active ingredients better to the skin, and what binds them to your skin cells?

No matter what direction I turned there was options to consider and investigate. I was constantly being inspired to hear more stories of happiness from people who followed my advice. It is a bizarre thing to realize that something as trivial as recommending wrinkle cream products can create such happiness in people or even help relationships. It is pleasant to say the least.

Well I have been hooked pretty much since, offering my advice and opinion on every angle or ingredient there is within the industry. I hope that I am able to continue to educate and inform consumers as to the best of products and treatments for anti aging symptoms.

Wrinkle creams are emotionally powerful as is the information needed to select the best ones. It may be a bit tough to accept that the ability to cure and heal wrinkles is instrumental in a person’s emotional well being, however I have been fortunate enough to witness many such experiences, and I hope to inspire many more to come.
