I want a guy but not just any guy,
A guy who can put me to sleep by running his fingers through my hair,
Or even with his simple serene stare,
A guy who will wake me up with a kiss every morning,
Or even with his quiet voice as he sings,
A guy who can surprise me every time he tries,
Or even with his laughs make me sigh,
A guy who will love me when I least deserve it because he knows that's when I will need it the most,
A guy who can tell what I'm thinking, feeling and make it sink in,
A guy who will smile when he sees me, feels me or hears me.
A guy who will hold me and never want to let me go,
That perfect guy, the one who wouldn't dare to leave without saying goodbye,
Do those even exist or is it just my imagination?
I need proof, a sign of salvation.
