The Perfect Dog
A story based on my dog. A little different.
"Here, pick any dog you would like. We can let you play with your dog of your choice in the back if you'd like", the helper in the animal shelter said. My mom, dad, my sister, and I walked down the hall, looking at each little cage with an interesting and cute personalities, stooping down to pet the animal or read about his/her life. As I was walking down the hall, I noticed a little doggie, his nose poking through the cage door, on his hind legs, and wagging his tail with delight. For some reason, I felt that this dog was right for me and I hoped that the rest of the family liked it.
"May we take this dog outside?" I asked the worker. The worker flipped the latch and opened the cage door wide open. He quickly tied a leash to the dog ad led him outside, with us right behind his heels. Once outside in a caged part, the worker took the leash off. Right then he jumped on me, his creamy coat shining in the sun, and his diamond-like eyes glittering. My whole family love him. And with that, we signed papers and he was ours! Outside my parents kept on asking what should I name the dog because I was the one who picked this special pup. All I could reply was... Peter. ♥♥♦
