The Pain

The pain.
Oh the heart breaking pain.
It's so agonizing, tearing me from the inside out.
Making me veer from the light, and forever walking into the darkness.
"Help me!" I scream into the blackness.
No response, "I loved you."

My soul is screaming, screaming for you.
And all I can do, is break down in tears.
What else am I supposed to do?
After all this, I still want to lean on you!
To love you!
I miss you.
Please come back.

Lies, lies.
Why did you lie to me?
I would have taken on the world just to be with you!
Still would.
But why?
Why would I after all this?

Three simple words explains everything,
"I love you."
Never forget that.
Remember when I told you wanted you to fill in the parts of my broken heart,
So you'll always forever be in my heart?
I do.
I remember when I first told you I loved you.

I couldn't help it.
Telling the truth is all that matters right?
So why did you lie?
Thanks to you, my insomnia is going to get worse,
