The Pain of Loving You

A poem written to my first love. We argued alot & constantly didn't get along. Although, we loved each other dearly.
Baby when will you understand
That there’s no one else
You’re my only man
I just wanna keep you close

But now I know I’ve thought wrong
That my love for you wasn’t enough
Our love was sadly not strong
Although I gave you all my love

I’ve cried all my tears
Now there’s nothin` left
I’ve always feared
That you’d leave me like the rest

Now what to do
I don’t know
Maybe it’s time for somethin` new
And just go with the flow
