The Only Me

The only thing I ever wanted plus needed was for
someone to love me, never once did I ask to be
controlled after all I have a mind of my own.

I have my own hopes, my own dreams, my own
down falls as well as my own fears.

I have had years of abuse coming up from my
youth, I have lost more things than I even knew I
had but through it all I still managed to laugh.

The one thing I have ever needed was a heart that
would see a man doing all he can to stand, however
this one request hasn't been answered which is a
heart that beats nothing but pure love for me.

I have ran into people who have tried to force their
dreams of what they think I should be on me, as well
as one's who can't forgive me no matter what the
mistakes may be that I make.

We all have growing to do this is true that's why I
become stronger with each time I fall down, I'm
tired of being in a crowded room and feeling all
alone at least when you where there to hold my
hand I felt like I blended in.

But now what will happen between me and you is
unknown due to me losing my cool over having
someone else trying to control my life as well as
the things I choose to do.

If you came back to me this is the only thing I would
ask of you that you love me for me plus try to see that
I have my own hopes, my own dreams, my own down
falls, my own fears plus my own mind which makes
me one of a kind or better known as the only me.
