The Mysterious Guy From My Dreams
Felicia experiences dreams, dreams that seem to lead her somewhere unknown. Till she meet's him..
I wake up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily while I try to catch my breath again. My heart was beating 100 miles an hour by now, and I was sure of it. I glance to my right to find a black shadow. It appeared to be the shape of a man. The closer and close it came, the more its identity was revealed. I gasp. It was him again. The same man with the same intentions. He slowly pulled a knife out of his pocket like it was some prize possession. (Some prized possession that was) I say under my breath. He smiles crookedly. Right now, I mainly had two question's that we're desperately wanting to come out. Who is he, and what does he want?
"Who are you?" I force myself to say while he brings the knife closer and closer to my jaw. My precious jaw.
"I'm your worst nightmare" He replies and laughs though this was somehow amusing to him.
Suddenly, I hear a faded voice calling my name, this voice sounded really familiar, what a joy, it was my mum. I sigh, and push myself out of bed and walk to the bathroom, just as slow as a turtle. When the mirror reveals my reflection, I almost throw up. I looked awful, and to add to that, it was my first day of high school. Wasn't this just great. I think this definitely made the list of top ten worst days, I thought to myself. I plug-in the straightener and quickly go over my hair, apply some mascara, and after throw on some clothes. Maybe this day wasn't going to be so bad after all. I was pretty happy with the finishing product. I grin. I make my way down the stairs and see my mum there, arms crossed with a frown on her face. This wasn't good. Maybe it was time to bring on the attitude. I put my hand on my hip and get ready for the criticism.
"Felicia, darling. You aren't going to wear THAT on your first day of high school, right? This is just preposterous."
"Actually, yes it is mother." I say aloud, mockingly. While she rolls her eyes and sighs. This is me, t-shirt and jeans kinda girl. And if she didn't like it, that was too bad. I shake my head and smile while walking out the door as I grab a delicious muffin from the counter and wave bye-bye to my mum.

Three houses down from our house was where my bus stop was supposed to be, but with our slow bus driver, Mrs Shelly, by the time she got there, school would've already started. I told her just to stay at the end of the road, where I would be every morning awaiting her. Right now, from far I could see something big and yellow moving very slow. I need right away it was my bus, I was it was so slow it was insane.. A few minutes later, Shelly pulls up in front of me and opens the bus doors.
"Hello Felicia!" She spits out.
"Hi, Shelly." I say and force a grin. I could see my best friend Hanna waving at me from the back of the bus, before anything else, I go and park my but right beside her.
"Hey!" Hanna exclaims.
"Hi darling!" I smile.
"How was your night?" She says in her usual enthusiastic voice.
The second she pops the question, I freeze up. All I can remember is a strange man, and the same question over and over again and the puzzling answer, " Who are you ? " And the strange response," Your worst nightmare. " I twitch. Chills we're running down my spine with a cold shiver.
"Uhm, hey? Hanna here! SNAP OUT OF IT." Best friend, Hanna screams.
I needed to get to the bottom of this, what really happened last night. Was there really a man in my room? Or was this just a regular nightmare, whatever it was, it needed to be resolved.
"I'm fine.." I answer, but hiding the truth about how worried I really was. When the bus stops, I am the first one to get off. I run till can get somewhere quiet enough to think. I get to the bathroom and fix my gaze on the one stall that I was about to go in, it was handicapped. I take a quick look around making sure no one was here, I mean it looked like I really needed to go. I open the door. Once in, I plop myself on the ground while thinking about last night, and I try to remember, but the only thing that comes to mind is this man, and he somehow seemed familiar to me too. I remember his sick smile, his threatening knife, and his raspy voice telling me he was my worst nightmare.
"Knock, Knock, Knock." I roll my eyes. Of course, it was Hanna being that great friend she's always been."Felicia, are you in there? I know that's you."
"Y-yeah I'll be out in a sec." I stutter. After I come out and wash my hands, She looks at me like I was an alien,
'' K, so baby girl, I know that face, What's going on?
'' It's nothing I was just worried that my mom would make lasagna, you know, since I'm lactose intolerant. '' I giggle.
She didn't believe it. But then, I was saved by the bell. we go our separate ways and make ourselves to class. Till I get in Mr. Fillie's class and see him, the guy. The man from my dreams. This only meant one thing, I couldn't get close to him, because I somehow knew he had something against me and wanted to kill me.
"You may take your seat." Mr Fillie says, strictly. I nod.
To my surprise, the only empty seat is beside him, I sigh.
I sit.
"Hey. I'm Seth. " He says, friendly. Friendly? How could this be. I felt sweat coming down my forehead.
"Hi.. Felicia." I manage to say. This time, he nods and grins. Maybe this was just a coincidence, he looked like the same guy. Maybe my dream was trying to tell me something, telling me not to have contact with this guy. That he was bad news. Till class was over, nothing else was said. Once the bell rang, I run out of class and look around, wondering what was going to happen next.
"Who are you?" I force myself to say while he brings the knife closer and closer to my jaw. My precious jaw.
