Car options have come a long way. Electric windows, moon roofs, and cruise control are commonly installed in cars today and are not the "extras" they used to be. Some cars have options that will stun the average car owner. These options cost as much or more than most cars.

Expensive Paint Job

If you want to stand out even more while driving around in your Ferrari 599GTB Florano, you might want to consider changing the color just a bit. You can move from the usual deep red Ferrari paint job to a burgundy metallic finish for only $22,000.

Great Passenger Entertainment

You have the option of a television and DVD system for your Bentley Arnage RL. Backseat passengers will have the luxury of two separate systems, so there won’t be any arguments over which TV shows or DVD’s to watch. You and add this package for a little less than $21,000.

More Speed

If a top speed of 155mph isn’t quite fast enough for your Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG, you have the option of adding the P30 AMG Performance Package to your purchase. For $14,070, you will increase the automobile’s top speed to 186mph, a full 31mph over the basic model.

Put on the Brakes

Your Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 just wouldn’t be complete without adding the carbon-ceramic brakes package. These brakes withstand heat and heavy use better than the originally installed brakes. For $16,250, you can ensure your Murcielago LP640 brakes are ready for some high performance use.

Riding in Luxury

As if the Lexus LS 600hL wasn’t comfortable enough, you can add a luxury-seating package. This option includes enough amenities to make you want to spend all your spare time in your car. Massage units, a wooden worktable, and a refrigerator all make your backseat a haven for only $12,570.

An Engine Ready for Show

The Ferrari F430 V-12 engine causes many people to stop and stare. You can enhance the appearance of your F430 engine even more with the carbon-fiber compartment moldings option. For a little less than $16,620 you can have the most enviable F430 engine around.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is an enormously powerful vehicle, with a turbo-charged 8-liter engine that produces 1,001 horsepower. Two V-8 engines are placed side-by-side in a "W" configuration for an unbelievable 16-cylinder power boost. The 16-cylinder engine and the 4-wheel drive feature are the sources for the "16.4" Veyron model name.

A base model Veyron 16.4 claims a base model price of $1,500,000. Prices for customized version are higher. This supercar accelerates from 0 - 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds. The Veyron’s top-recorded speed is 253 mph.

Named after the French racing driver, Pierre Veyron, the Bugatti Veyron is the dream automobile of many car enthusiasts. Each Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is handcrafted in Molsheim, Alsace, France, by Bugatti Automobiles SAS, a subsidiary of Volkswagen. The Veyron 16.4 is the only Bugatti model made since 2005, with three additional versions created since 2007.

Koenigsegg CCX and CCXR

The supercharged Koenigsegg CCX sport car’s 4.7-liter, V-8 engine delivers 1,000 horsepower. The Koenigsegg CCXR, modified to run on bio ethanol fuel, tops the CCX with 1,018 horsepower. These Swedish made super cars are among the fastest and most expensive cars in the world.

The CCX commands a price of about $1,000,000, while the more "green" CCXR will set you back about $2,400,000. Both Koenigsegg models have incredible zero to sixty track speeds. The Koenigsegg CCX hits a speed of 62mph in 3.2 seconds, and the CCXR model easily makes this trip in only 3.1 seconds. The CCX and CCXR can both reach a speed of 124mph from a standing start and to a complete stop in less than fourteen seconds. Unofficially, the CCX has a top speed of 259mph.

The Koenigsegg CCXR model is 25% more powerful than the CCX. The modifications to the CCXR engine include upgrades to fuel injectors, fuel lines, piston rings, and super-charger boost settings. The alterations allow the CCXR to use either E85 or E100 fuel.

Don’t be too quick to dismiss the hefty price tags of these two supercars. Each one comes with a five-year warranty and service for the vehicles is free. If you need a little something extra to go along with your purchase, Koenisgsegg offers a $60,000 diamond-encrusted keychain. Read more on auto transport.
