The Moon's Tune
In my head it's a song, but on the screen it's just words.
Oh the stars may shine
And the world stands still including time
And I sing to the moon
The most haunting tune
As my song comes to an end
I realize your my only friend
As the sun comes up and makes the sky blush
The world descends into a chilling hush
And I'm silenced until my moon comes back
I'm left sitting on the rack
My heart beats a rhythm of its own
Its own pitch and its own tone
And I'm left alone
