The Moon

I wrote this for L.A, too. Personification!
He looks down upon the earth,
with his silver white eyes.
He rides on starbeams through the night,
his laughter brightening the skies.
He races the winds and chases the shadows,
into the magic of twilight.
His sphere of light does fill the night,
and scares the away the fright.
He disappears in the morn'
and his brother takes his place.
As all the kids moan and groan,
they all awake.
If you ever spot him,
will you notify your dreams?
