The Love That Killed You

You died for me.... you loved me so much that you put your life on the line to save me....
You said it will all end fine,
that we would be free one day.
But instead you’re dead and my life has corrupted.
Everything is gone,
nothing but grief and misery taking over my life.
I once lived, but now I cry,
And remember your face, the way you looked that night.
Although you no longer suffer, and you saved my life,
I shall never forget your face, and the danger you faced, because of I.
