The Love of God

Can anything in this world
Be greater than the love of God?
The comfort and peace
He gives to us when we pray to him.
The glory of Heaven and the Earth below
The stars, the moon and the sun
That we see are all attributed
To the one far greater than we’ll ever be,
Nothing on Earth can give us more
Comfort, happiness and protection
In time of need than the guiding hands of the Lord.
With each new sunrise and sunset
Days unfolding, years rolling
I’m ever more convinced
That there’s nothing greater
In this world than the love of God
And there never will be.
