The lily was basking in the sunlight when all of a sudden a huge windstorm came along and ripped the lily up by its roots. It was flung into a nearby pond. And as the water rippled, so did the petals of the lily. It was crying it had been ripped away from all its other lily friends. So the lily lay floating atop the water, and slowly died out of loneliness.
