Jay always described it the same. To anyone who asked him to tell them how it happened, how he became James Ferguson, it was always the same.

Jay sat there, on the same wall again. A pasty in his hands, and a cup of coffee beside him. His hands were now nicely defrosted, and his stomach was satisfied. He hadn't seen Calvin in a while. He was now going round with a new boy called Lyle. He was slightly irritating, in the way that Jay had to teach him how to pick pockets first. He had just run away from home and was innocent as cherry pie.

A shadow fell across Jay and he looked up. He did a double-take. There was a couple standing in front of him. The first thing he noticed, was that they were rich. They were dressed in clearly expensive clothes, and Jay felt a pang of envy. What he would give to be rich.

"I didn't do it" he said, looking from one face to the other. That must be why they were here? To blame something on him. The man laughed and Jay winced. It was loud and carried far.
"We're not here to give you trouble" he boomed in a deep voice. He had short black hair and a handsome face. He looked to be around his late forties.
"We're here to make you an offer you won't refuse" the woman said. She had long platinum blonde hair, a young beautiful face and a trilling voice.

"What?" Jay asked.
The man held his hand out and sceptically, wiping his on his jeans first, Jay took it.
"Johnathan Moore and this is my wife Nyssa" Nyssa smiled.
Jay nodded slowly, "Jay".
"What do you want?" he was still finding it hard to believe they were talking to him calmly, and not calling the police on him.

Johnathan glanced at Nyssa and grinned. Turning back to Jay he tilted his head,
"We, that is my wife and I , would like it very much if you would come back to our house with us" he smiled.

Jay froze. What? What!?
"Excuse me?" he asked incredulously.
"We have decided to help people like yourself, and we want to help you in particular" Nyssa explained.

Jay was wary. If he went with them, he might get a night in a warm house, with a proper meal in his belly. But it could also be a trick. But then again, if he stayed here, he'd get a freezing cold night and probably wake up with frostbite. There really was no competition. He stared at them for a moment before smiling a little.

"Ur...ok" he shrugged.
Nyssa's face lit up and she looked at Johnathon.
"Well, good. You can come with us now?" he asked. Jay nodded, gulped down the coffee and jumped off the wall.

"Um...what exactly are you going to do?" he wondered as they walked.
"Well, you'll just have to see" Nyssa giggled.

Jay was confused, bewildered and anxious. But he had no reason to be Johnathan told him. He was going to be looked after. He was going to have a home.

It was nothing exciting. Nothing to be amazed at. Nothing to ooh and aaah over. Just a cold day, when Jay got offered the best thing possible in his life. Nothing...Yeah right. More like everything.

Jay's jaw dropped as they approached the house. It had been a minute walk, which solved his silent question; why they hadn't driven. The house was big. It was possibly a four or five storey, with a massive front garden, big black gates and a long winding drive way. He whistled. Johnathan chortled.

"It's big huh?" he shrugged. Jay nodded. What a house. It was painted a creamy colour and it was so beautiful it was unfair. Johnathan pulled a little remote from his pocket and pressed a button; the gates swung open effortlessly. They walked forward and Jay looked around. Unbelievably, there was a peacock strutting around, sprinklers lightly spraying the immaculate grass. Nyssa unlocked the door while Jay stood still in the middle of the drive way staring. He'd never seen such heaven. Johnathon tugged on his arm and shamefully Jay moved away. He didn't want Johnathan to lay his clean manicured hands on his dirty clothes. He felt terrible about it.

Johnathan seemed to know what Jay was thinking. He smiled a little and gestured to the door. Jay hesitated before he stepped through. It was extravagant. Everywhere was gold and shining, polished to the maximum. Nyssa came out of a door to his right. Her coat was off and she was wearing a soft long dress and gold sandals. She looked like a goddess.

Johnathan took off his coat and hung it on the stair banister. Facing Jay he smiled.
"Welcome to our humble abode" he mocked. Jay laughed a little. He was overwhelmed, it was so much.

"Um...what's gonna happen now?" he asked quietly. Nyssa moved towards him and rested a hand on his arm.
"Well, first we're going to take you and get you cleaned up" she smiled warmly. Jay nodded.
"And then, you're gonna meet our children" she added. Jay took a breathe. He could do this. They weren't hurting him, they were just helping him. Though he was still in the dark about why. Surely people didn't just go out randomly, pick a homeless person and take them home? Or maybe they did, he smirked a little. Maybe he was just out of touch with the world.

Nyssa pulled him towards the stairs and up them. He looked back but Johnathan has already gone. She led him into an airy room with lots of windows. There was a chair in front of a mirror and two people lounging on a sofa in the corner. A man and a woman that jumped up when Jay and Nyssa walked into the room.

"Colin, Ursula" Nyssa smiled. They smiled back and then their gaze drifted to Jay, where they stopped and widened. Jay winced.

India tied her hair back again. It was so silky it slipped out the hair band easily as water out of a hand. She turned onto her back and stared up through the big sky light. God, she loved this room. The whole ceiling was made out of glass. The carpet was slightly uncomfortable which was why she was on a spare duvet, reading Wuthering Heights. She smiled. Her favorite book ever. She was just about to continue reading it when she heard her dad's voice outside the door. She got up slowly.

"Yeah?" she opened the door.
"Hey," he smiled "Have you seen your brothers?"
"Urm, Fencing Room" she answered.
"Right, could you get them please? And meet your mother and me in the lounge. We've got someone we want you to meet" he said, with a smile on his face. India laughed and shrugged.
"Okay" and she followed her dad downstairs but stopped on the third floor. The Fencing room was the last door on the landing, and even from the top she could hear the clashing, grunts and buzzing. She pushed open the door and leaned against it. Zac and Edward where dressed in their fencing outfits, and they were deep in 'battle'. The score was 35 - 19 to Zac. She laughed out loud and Zac looked up, giving Edward the chance to lunge and strike him in the chest. Hearing the buzz Zac immediately lunged back.

India walked to the score box and glancing at them one more time, pulled the plug out. Edward got Zac but there was no sound and they both looked towards her. She waved the wires she had in her hand and grinned. They both slipped their masks off. Zac was calm as ever but Edward was sweating and breathing heavily.

"Hey sis" Zac smiled.
"Aww man, I was just about to beat him!" Edward moaned.
Zac snorted, "Yeah right" he muttered putting his mask down on the bench in the corner.
India glanced at Edward, he always lost. Zac was the much fitter brother.

"Actually Eddie, You did beat him" she said innocently. Zac cocked his head and stared at her, saying nothing while Edward punched the air and grinned. She suppressed a giggle.
"Dad says to meet him downstairs in the lounge now"
"Okay" her brothers said in unison. India left them to get changed.

She went into her room, and changed out of her house trousers which were creased from lying on the floor and green tank top. If there was someone she was going to meet, she wanted to look reasonable okay. Not that she was gonna make an effort. She wasn't that type of girl. She put on some footless tights, shorts (even though it was winter, the house was always hot enough to make her sweat) and another tank top, black this time. She let her hair down, brushed through it and wiped any smudges she had under her eyes. Then she was done and she made her way to the lounge.

Zac and Edward came in a minute later, wearing matching jeans and polo tops.
"Aww! Look at the widdle twins!" she teased them. Zac stuck his tongue out.
"Ha ha ha! Not. Mum locked our wardrobes and left these cruddy outfits out" he grumbled.
"That's because you dress like blind gorillas" she laughed.
Edward narrowed his eyes and advanced on her.
"Don't touch me!" she squealed and then started shrieking as he tickled her. She wriggled about like a worm, trying to force his hands off her when she heard someone clear their throat. They all looked towards the door, where their parents were standing, and beside them, the most gorgeous guy India had ever seen.
