The Life I Never Thought I Would Have Part 10

When we got to the beach, Alina ran as fast as she could to claim our spot at the beach. While we were behind, getting the things together. "Are you really okay baby girl? I know you and it seems like something is wrong." Cat said kind of looking sad.

I couldn't really tell her at first. Until she held my hand and looked me straight in my eyes. I felt my eyes watering. I took out the phone and put it in her hand. I am pretty sure that she knew what was going on now even though I didn't say anything about it. She looked through the message and was getting mad. She threw her phone in the trunk and said," Baby, don't worry about her. She is nothing to me right now. As long as I got you I am good. She always tried to ruin all of my relationships."

"Bay, I know I shouldn't let her ruin this relationship but it still makes me sad that she has your number and text you things that make you think twice."

"What you mean think twice baby?"

"Like think if you still want her back or something like that."

"No baby. I don't want her I want you and only you Leilani. "

"I know that bay. But in the back of my mind, its you leaving me for her. And you left me heartbroken. I can't stand being hurt. I have been hurt too many times. And then you came along and changed that. You made me realized that I can be with someone and be happy at the same time."

"Well baby, trust me I will never hurt you. I wouldn't want anyone else but you. I would fight my hardest to have you with me every single day. I do not care of what people think of me and you. Your parents finally accepted us being together. I am happy that they are and now we get to be with each other and not have to sneak around. Baby, Trust Me!"

"Baby I do trust you. I am so sorry I brought this up but I had to get it off my chest. Because if I didn't, I would have been bottling up this feeling inside me. But now I feel much better about it though. Let's just go have some fun. I know Alina is waiting for us so she could play in the water."

"Leilani I love you with all my heart." she said with a big smile on her face.

"Catherina, I love you with all my heart too." I said back to her with a real smile this time. She wipe the tear away from my cheeks. The day went by pretty fast. I love this get away that Catherina made plans for our anni and my birthday.

We have been at the beach since 10 this morning. Alina got tired by 6. So we decided to go back to the house and make dinner there. And let Alina get a little nap in before she eats. Alina didn't wait to go home to sleep because she fell asleep in the car. Cat had to hold Alina to get her out the car. She would not walk so Cat got her and took her into the guestroom. I was still at the car gathering the stuff to bring back into the house. Cat came out a minute later to help me with bring the things inside. I gave her a kiss before she went into the house. When I got into the house, she was waiting in the front door. She was smiling really big. "Baby, I don't even know if I should be scared or happy like you." I joked.

"Come here baby." She held me closer and kissed me. I know what she wanted but I won't let her get it. I kept kissing her until she moved me into the room. She laid me on the bed and started to kiss my neck and tried to take off my clothes. But I stopped her before she went to far.

"Baby no I am not going to do this right now." I told her.

"Bay I am sorry I don't know what took over me."

I kissed her on the lips. "It is okay baby."
