The Letter V and Me: Together We Make Three: Chapter Two
Chappy two!
I woke up in a cold dark room in a soft and unfamiliar bed. I sat up but immediately fell back in pain. I groaned as my head spun. When it stopped, I slowly sat up and got out of the bed. My body was sore beyond imagination. I flinched as I stepped and felt a sharp pain in my left ankle/
"Dammit!" I fell to the floor and began to cry. 'He's gonna make me his personal sex slave.' I thought and began crying harder.
Minutes later the door to the room opened and a tall dark figure stood in the doorway menacingly.
"Are you ok? Why are you on the floor?" Asked a soft voice belonging to the person now standing in front of me.
Through the blur of tears, I looked up at him.
"Close you eyes for a second. I won't hurt you. I swear."
"That's what"
"Well, I'm not him." He said softly.
I sniffled and closed my eyes. He flipped on a lamp next to the bed.
"Ok. you can open your eyes now."
I did so and looked up at the guy. He just stood there staring down at me quizzically. His golden eyes sparkled. I'm guessing they were the eyes I saw before I passed out.
"You never answered my question. Why were you on the floor?" He stepped a little closer to me. I felt overwhelmed and small with him standing over me.
"My-my ankle. I think it's broken or something."
He sat down in front of me. "Let me see." Put your leg here." He said patting his own leg.
I tried but it hurt to badly to move it on my own.
"I can't. It hurts."
He sadly lifted my leg to his lap. I winced but didn't say anything. He examined my ankle for a bit before saying. "It's not broken. Just badly sprained. Wait here." He gently placed my leg back on the floor and left the room. When he came back he had gauze and a tube of Icy Hot.
As he fixed my ankle slowly, I stared at him. He had long, black, shaggy hair. His skin was pale and perfect except a small mole on his left cheek.
His hands were soft and gentle on my skin, feeling soothing against the burning cuts and bruised.
"All done. Well...do you want to tell me what happened?" Who was that guy?"
"That was Vincent. My boyfriend. Well Ex-boyfriend now. He drug me to a party that I told him I didn't want to go to. Then he got mad because some drunk guy was staring and trying to touch me. I stood up to move and tell him to stop but Vince saw something totally different through his drunken eyes. Yeah...you pretty much know the most part of what happened after that.
The guy, whoever he was, looked angry. "I don't see how people can be so cruel!"
When I didn't say anything he sighed.
"Well, I guess I should be getting you home. Do you"
"I don't have a home now. My parents died when I was 16 and I've been living with Vince ever since. So...I have nowhere for you to take me."
He looked to be thinking hard. "Any family? Anyone?" He asked slowly.
"Not that I know of."
More thinking.
"Well, how about you stay here for tonight ad we'll figure something out in the morning." He sounded really tired and I had nowhere else to go so I didn't protest.
"Ok. Is this your room?"
"Yeah. It's ok though. I'll sleep on the couch. You're in pain. You need somewhere soft and comfortable to sleep." He smiled lightly.
"Ok...but um...can you sleep in here? I think I feel safer that way."
He nodded and laid across the foot of the bed. I climbed under the covers and fell asleep quickly
