A small study suggests that men with a history of heart attack and/or high blood pressure are at an increased risk of suffering a vision-threatening condition called NAION upon taking Cialis. Researchers found that patients with a history of these conditions were up to ten times more likely to develop serious eye complications while taking Cialis compared to otherwise healthy men. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, was published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology (Defective Drugs).

The latest news on Cialis indicated that if people take a higher dose of Cialis than that which is recommended then it is possible that they could suffer from a stroke. This was only the case with individuals that exceeded the amount of Cialis that was supposed to be taken in the incidence of stroke. The hearing and vision problems were not related to an elevated dose of Cialis.
