The Last Victim Chapter 30

'You shouldn't have done that Rouvas!'' Roderigo shouted in anger.
''I was in rage! I wasn't aware of anything I was doing Rod!'' Rouvas shouted back.
''You've never hit him Rouvas, never! How could you do this?! What was going on in your mind?!''
''I was tormented! I was waiting there for hours asking myself if he's coming back or he's gone forever and he just stepped in there and I vented all the torment on him! I don't know how did I do this!''
''You have to take in your consideration what he's been through Rouvas, it's not easy!''
''What about what I've been through!! I've been in hell since it all started Rod! No one knows or feels what I am suffering, no one! I was dying everyday when he was kidnapped! And I'm dying everyday now just thinking that anything bad can happen to him again! I'm trying to protect him and keep him safe but he doesn't help me! He's absolutely apathetic! He's destroying himself as if it is not enough what we are suffering already!''
''This is your mistake.'' Roderigo said firmly.
Rouvas's eyebrows raised in surprise and said ''My mistake?!''
''Yes, you were so busy being a parent that you forgot being a father. After what happened you were so concerned about his physical safety but you didn't offer him emotional support.'' Roderigo said emphatically.
''You're wrong.'' Rouvas choked.
''Rouvas, have you ever asked him what happened to him there? Have you ever tried to know how he feels? Have you ever tried to listen to him instead of pushing him to see a therapist?'' Roderigo inquired angrily.
''I love my son!'' Rouvas protested.
''I didn’t say you don't! I am saying that you are so much into the role of the protector.''
Rouvas's lips parted to say something but he was interrupted by the sound of Niko's steps descending the stairs quickly carrying a large black luggage and heading to the door.
Rouvas stood in his way and ''Where are you going?''
''Get out of my way I'm leaving! I should've done that a long time ago!'' Niko shouted.
''It's 3:30 am you're not going anywhere.'' Rouvas said firmly.
''I'm going wherever I want! It's not your business!'' Niko yelled in anger and pushed Rouvas out of his way and continued his way to the door. Rouvas grabbed his arms and the luggage fell on the floor.
''Come here! Don't you ever think I'm going to let go out and you know what might happen! Enough acting like a kid!'' Rouvas groaned.
Niko tried to twitch his arms from Rouvas's grip and screamed ''Enough treating me like kid! LET ME GO!''
Rouvas tightened his grip while Niko resisted violently.
''Hey! Both of you stop it!'' Roderigo shouted.
''STOP IT you're hurting me!'' Niko screamed and kicked Rouvas leg in anger. Rouvas let out a cry of pain and loosened his grip on Niko's arm. Niko ran to the door and opened it but Chris and Patrick grabbed him and pushed him inside. Niko's face became red with anger and screamed ''Let me go you m**** f****!!!!''
He started to become hysterical and his screaming and yelling came out of control. Rouvas was worried that something wrong was going to happen to him as he started shaking uncontrollably.
''I want to go out of here!'' Niko kept screaming.
''Ok, ok Niko you're going out, you're coming with me!'' Roderigo said.
Rouvas looked at Roderigo with questioning eyes and Roderigo said ''He's coming with me, he'll stay with me for a while till he calms down!''
Roderigo said after a while of hesitation ''Ok.''
Roderigo carried the luggage and said to Chris and Patrick ''Take him to my car.''
