The Last Story - Chapter 5 (David)

You get a SMALL idea of what might happen later. In David's Point Of View.
"Look Lydia, what I'm doing isn't dirty or disrespectful! When I got the job, I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing! Following around some chick will be simple. Just get an idea of who she is outside the media, write about it under an alias and then be done with life. Go on to law school! It's the perfect plan!" Of course, my sister wasn't going to take that.

"David, it's cruel. You might think that it's no big deal to get into this girl's life, but if she's as secretive as people say she is, she probably doesn't let that many in. When she finds out that it was you, she'll never trust anyone ever again. Marissa Carming is one of society's most wonderful, influential women. You can't go poking around her house and pretending to be her friend!"

"I don't care what you say. It's my life. I need to get to Harvard, and I need the money fast. Journalism isn't all that bad of a job, anyway."
"That's the problem David! It's not about your life! If you were writing about puppies, or politics, or diseases, or anything else, it would be fine! The problem is that you could potentially ruin a person's life. Telling everyone about a person's personal life is bad enough, but when the person is shy and doesn't trust people easily, it's practically murder!"
"She likes me, and is so not going to guess that it was me, anyway!"

"You aren't listening. The only people she lets into her personal life are her family and extremely close friends. Yes, she obviously has a bit of a crush on you to have been so gracious, but what if she tells you something that could hurt her? Would you ignore it, or spill it?"

"Depends if I can get close enough. Wait, is that her now? Mar-wait, no. Missy? Hey! Missy!" Lydia will no longer make my life's decisions. She's been doing that for long enough. Now, it's my turn to call the shots and I'm saying that Marissa Carming is going down.
So, do you still like David?
Are you kidding me?
He'll come around!
No
Well...yes, actually...I hate Marissa
