The Last Bite - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
In mid-semester, 1st period the teacher introduced a boy into the classroom.
"Students please welcome a new student. Please..... introduce yourself to the class."
"Hey I guess...... My name is David Lee. I just moved here from Minnesota." he said.
"Alright Mr. Lee you may sit by Alex. Alex raise your hand so he knows where you are." of course she would say my name because there was an empty seat in front of me.
I heard people whispering "Oh my gosh he's soo cute!!!"
I laughed at them for saying that.
"What are you laughing at?" he said.
"Oh... Nothing."
"Ok?..." he said uncertain.
The rest of the hour was quiet. when the bell rang, I was out before I even knew it.
As I walked out, I swore someone was following me. I turned around looking, still walking and I bumped into someone. I fell on the ground and so did that person.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I should've watch where I was going."
"Yeah! you should've!"
I didn't really care of his action all I saw was David by my locker opening someone else's.
"Ummm..... what are you doing??" I asks.
"Getting my books out of my locker....." he looked confused.
"This is your locker?!"
"....Yes...."
"Ok then....."
"Yes! His lockers next to mine?! I can;t believe it!?" I said in my head. of course I wouldn't say it out loud then I would be embarrassed.
"What class you have next" he said.
"English, you?"
"Same, which teacher?"
"Mr. Cox."
"Same, shall we walk together?"
"Um..... I guess." I said.
"Whoo! I'm walking with him to class! Is this an area? Please tell me it isn't" I told myself.
I wasn't watching where I was waking and I bumped into him when he stopped.
"Dang! Why do I keep bumping into people these days?! I'm sorry" I said.
"It's ok. I like clumsiness/cockiness." he said
I saw Richard look at me as I sat at my seat and David went to greet the teacher.
"Class today.....blah blah blah" that's all I heard the teacher say. But what I did hear was he was sitting in front of me because my two friends next to me never in front.
"David why won't you sit in an empty seat by the window" he said.
Which was still in front of me in class for the second time today.
