The Lake

She is not with me now. Now we have different paths. but there was a time when we were together, dreaming future.
With those shadows in my mind,
On these alien streets I walked.
I stumbled yesterday. Today I find
the dreams once your deep eyes talked.

I’m unaware, what you’re today and where.
I reckon the days. Today, yesterday and
the days before…
And you’re the common. Beating here.
What you do? Soothe my heart or tear?

Why the tongue was dumb
on that mystic ground?
and the hearts were numb,
Why in the sun were the fogs around?

Believe me. It’s me, the same thing.
Now I count the every step I take.
Anyway this world is teaching me
and I am learning –
Why river flows and still is the lake!
