The Inflected

Just a preface..... from the author of men are the worst pets.
It’s very hot; it feels like the world is spinning around me. My mind feels like it’s on one of those snow channels on the T.V. Blank and fuzzy. Red dances under my eyelids; I’m unaware of my body; only the desert heat.
Although I’m not in the desert; why am I? I don’t remember; not anything. Am I a person? What is a person? What is heat? Or red?
I can’t remember.
My eyes open on their own accord; or by some other force.
I see a crying black and red mask; porcine and glassy like abstain rock. It has no eyes, nothing to cry from.
I’m scared as the mask pulls out a long injection needle filled with a clear solution. An evil smile too long for a human to have grows on the mask’s face.
The needle plunged closer in my view. I sit helpless and dizzy. The needle; sharp; cuts my vision in half.
Boiling, steaming water flows into my eye.
I try to scream passed the pain…….
Is it too detailed?
Way
