The Inevitable Depth

Totally fictional...I was juz bored :p
Looking out this black painted window,
Wondering what she really feels
Or does she even feel?...emotions hid under that pretentious zeal.
But suddenly taken aback, like a slap in the face,
Confusion flooded her whole body - leaving no trace.

Whispering out to no one in particular, "what's happening?"
When in her head she knows what it is - her world shattering.
She resolved to look back on the memories that once made her grin,
But persistence was no help...it still made her grim.
Can't understand what she's really feeling...what she wants

But still by the episodes of her nightmares she's believed to be taunt.
Under the face of pure happiness, joyous laughter inept...
Is a wondrous soul searching the inevitable depth.
So shes still seeking...to find her way out..
To get outta this dream world that's turned inside out.

But keeping to herself, not letting anyone else lay a finger,
She crosses her arms, not seeming to let anything linger.
But the twitch of her nose at every odor,
The sparkle of her eyes at every scene,
Will somehow denote that there's still more to be seen....you know what I mean?
