The Imprint

Vacant and empty without you…but you go on.
You stole every inch
Mind, soul and body
Robbed all innocence
This woman, I was
I can no longer be
Chained and bound
Eternally my heart
Broken and vacant
But you go on
Forever

Dignity, pride
Confidence and smile
Lost in time
Shame, tears of blood
Remain stained upon
This masquerade
Hyper boreal emotions
Extrinsically revealed
But you go on
Forever

Secrets retired
Truth bygone
Passion extinct
Death succeeds
This era ceases
Angels upon my grave
Exonerating fears
This deserted fate
But you go on
Forever
