The Hills Star’s Racy Photos

It has been rumored that the pictures were submitted to Playboy but were rejected by the magazine. Patridge’s rep, Jennifer Shoucair, has denied these rumors and said that the photos were taken about five years ago. Patridge, 22, said in a statement, "I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know how to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and for the young girls who look up to me."

Patridge said the photos were meant to be "artistic and not in any way provocative." She also said that the pictures were never meant to be released to the public. Patridge added, "I was naive, overly trusting of people and inexperienced. I thought that to be a model you had to be comfortable in front of the camera. I’m not ashamed of these photos, but I don’t want my young fans to think they have to do what I did. I hope people can learn from my inexperience. It’s been almost five years since I posed for that shoot, and during that time I have learned many lessons about this business."

Patridge currently stars on the hit reality show on MTV. The Hills is a spin-of of Laguna Beach and follows the life of Lauren Conrad leaving her home in Laguna Beach, California and making a life in Los Angeles. Recently, Conrad has spoken out about her friendship with Patridge and how she feels she betrayed her. Patridge recently made nice with Conrad’s ex-best friend and now enemy, Heidi Montag. Conrad reportedly said, "Audrina has to remind me that she’s not someone who’s going to betray me."
