The Girl Next Door

This poem is actually about the archetypal character... the love drunk-blabbering fool i just thought it’s an odd character because some girls love the guy but when it happens in real life some can’t even see it enjoy! And thank you to those who have left comments on the prior ones I really like your poetry they're pretty bad ass! haha
Excuse the nervousness in my voice
or the restlessness in my poise
this is something I’m not accustomed to
something I’m not trained to do
for once I’m at a loss for words
something that hasn't happened before
usually the pen moves along the contours that let my words soar
or when I type the words come out just right
Just like perfect balance follows the right design

I know you won’t like a blabbering fool
it was the usual case back at school
so its ok if you just walk on by
this wouldn't be the first time
its ok that you didn't know my name
or that we'll never be the same
just do me a favor
and savor your words
let them grow in your mind
and give that feeling sometime
you'll come around safe and sound
trying to find common ground

So I'll be waiting with a nervous excuse
or some paper bag that I'll have to use
to hyperventilate
cause I wouldn't know what to say
so please excuse my heart for what it has said
these words are not my own
but I do feel them and they don't leave me alone
with closed eyes and an open heart
I know you won’t be too far...
