The Forbidden

To the one I thought that we couldn't be. At the time, this was the way it was, but now it is I who needed to forget the forbidden. I was the one who needed to search, not you.
She clings, she calls, she even reaches for me, but cannot. She wants things to be that cannot be. She doesn't understand what she wants or needs. She talks the sacred word "love" blindly and deaf. She desperately wants to hold onto something, but there just random things. What she thinks is not. What she is feeling is nothing more that just a mere illusion. She cannot see what isn't there. She says what she feels toward me is love, even though this would to be true, it cannot be. I have my other. I love her with all my heart. She is the love of my life and only she can be with me. We love each other, so please don't break us apart. My heart cannot take another strike.

Sometimes its better to leave things as they are, because people get hurt. I was pushed to the edge, I cannot take another blow, for that I will already be gone. I can only love you as a friend or sister. Nothing more, nothing less. My significant other is already chosen, and she chose me as well. Pick yourself up, and keep looking. What is forbidden, is forbidden. I cannot be yours, keep searching. You have to look like everyone else. Search for something worth searching for. Don't set yourself for failure. Know what you want and need. Once you find your resolve, forget about me and fight for whats worth it, and never let go. That's how you find your other. Your significant other and lover. Not I, the forbidden.
