The Fastest Way to Build Muscle
A chiseled body is what the youth of today desire, and more importantly they want it quick. Though you can't get a well toned body overnight, you can build muscles in a short period by following some simple rules. Read on to know more about the fastest way to build muscle.
Proper Workout
You need to plan your workout in a proper manner, wherein you decide which body part you will train on which day. You can begin by working for 3 to 4 days a week, for not more than an hour a day. Gradually, you can increase your training duration to an hour and half, but more than that is not advised. Spending more time in the gym wont make you big, but it will surely hamper your health due to over training. The fastest way to gain muscle is to train two muscles in combination. Combination of chest and triceps exercises or back and biceps exercises will work wonders for you. Avoid working on more than 2 muscle groups at a time. The repetitions should range from 4 to 12 reps per set. In weight training, powering the weight to up position, and descending slowly in a controlled manner helps to build muscle mass quickly, and simultaneously increases the strength. It's important to take a rest of 1 to 2 minutes between 2 sets. Changing the exercise routine once in every 6 to 8 weeks, does help when it comes to muscle gaining.
Proper Diet
A balanced diet is an important attribute of the fastest way to build muscle. It is very important to shift to a healthy diet from your junk food regime. The body has to be provided with much needed calories and nutrients. Frequent meals are better than over stuffing at single time. Have around 5 to 6 small meals a day, and ensure that you take in a good amount of calories. Foods with complex carbs and proteins, such as low fat yogurt and egg whites, are helpful in gaining muscle mass. Your should include protein shakes, lean meat, oatmeal, fruits, vegetables etc in your daily diet. If necessary you can take to mass building supplements for quick muscle gain.
Proper Rest
Last, but one of the most important requirement for building muscles faster is, sufficient amount of rest. One has to understand the fact that muscles don't grow when you workout in the gym, they grow when you are resting. Proper growth of muscles has to be backed by ample rest. At least try to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep everyday. Resting a couple of days in a week is as important as resting between 2 sets. Studies reveal that taking a break from workout for a short period is also beneficial, just make sure that the break is not too long, and you would have to start from the scratch.
Every individual has a different body, so techniques working for others need not necessarily work for you. Just because some other guy lifts 50 lbs in the gym, you don't have to do the same, you may end up hurting yourself. Use trial and error method, consult the fitness instructor and dietitian. Remember that even though, it's the fastest way to build muscle, the golden rule here is "patience is the key to success".
