The End of Secessionism in Somalia. Part IV–Denunciation of Misinformation Posted in Saylac Website

Following three earlier articles (The End of Secessionism in Somalia. Part III – Somaliland Elections Under Chaotic Circumstances - http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/94423), I have to focus on falsehood diffused in Somali about me personally and my personal activities. I hereby want to totally deny the pathetic lies that have been posted first in the Saylac website.

I must admit that in the past I was rather having a great part of esteem and consideration for this Somali portal that I thought it defended the Somali Unity, the Historical and Cultural Heritage of Somalia, the Somali Civilization radiation throughout Eastern Africa, and the political process of Somalia’s reunification, pacification and rehabilitation.

I am afraid I have to believe that the management of the portal either fell victim of misinformation and/or blackmail or – even worse – betrayed their principles and ideals just for some money that the disreputable pseudo-embassy of Abyssinia (fake ‘Ethiopia’) at Hargeisa (or London – see below) may have cashed to them.

I will summarize in English the central part of the article that has been published in Af Somali here: http://www.saylac.com/news/warka6mar,05,09.htm. Useless to add that the falsehood contained has been further diffused, and republished in other portals, being shamefully exploited by the tyrant Riyaale’s gangsters and thugs; indicatively, I mention here the following websites: http://www.udubparty.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=105:up&catid=44:wararka and http://www.somalilandnet.com/news/headline_news/2008/20084200.shtml.

The falsehood (under the Somali title: Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis oo Sir Weyn ka Fashiliyay Kulmiye) makes state of a secret meeting of which I have supposedly been one participant.

The falsehood starts with the presentation of the source of the narrative, a shadowy person that most probably is a fictional character, Dr. Elmi Mohamed Gama; if real, certainly Dr. Elmi Mohamed Gama is the only Somali Ph.D. with no reference throughout the web! This name appears only in the few cases of re-publication of the Saylac falsehood…..

Saylac administration base exclusively their report on this fake and inexistent person! Probably, they must be foolish enough to believe that I don’t monitor Somali websites or that I don’t understand Af Somali. Given my historical and political interest for the Horn of Africa greatest nation, their thought and assumption must have truly been a mere naivety.

According to the Saylac report, Dr. Elmi Mohamed Gama told them than on February 23rd a meeting was held secretly. Attendees are named as follows:
1- 3 men who said they belong to Jabuti opposition
2- 4 men from Kulmiye
3- Muhammad Shamsaddin who is half caste Somali that seemingly supports Ogadenia
4- 3 men from Southern Somalia

Only this is enough for a logical person to understand how fake the report is. Whereas I am mentioned as "half caste Somali" (unfortunately, I am not – it would be a great honor to be born in the land I so much love), and explicitly named, the other ….. ten (10) attendees’ names are not given, although they are supposed to be 100% Somalis!

I totally deny that I met altogether 10 Somalis anytime anywhere, and I also deny that I have been on Somali territory (either in Ogaden or in the North, the East, the Center, or the South of Somalia) after 1992. I never met people belonging to the Kulmiye party, although I corresponded with several supporters of all Somali parties and fronts, associations and organizations.

At the same time, I must state that over the span of the last three years, I have received many mails from tyrant Riyaale’s gang that testify to their extreme barbarism, ignorance, lewd behaviour, and uncouth manners. I consider them as representatives of the high treason perpetrated against Somalia by this gang that survived only due to the support of their masters, the vicious enemies of Somalia, the racist Amhara and Tigray Monophysitic Abyssinians.

It is greatly significant for me to note that those, whom I accuse for high treason against their nation, Somalia, express the same barbarism and the same lewd behaviour as the cannibalistic Abyssinian elites for whom they betrayed their own nation, on whom they depend, and to whom they shamelessly render account of their criminal and disreputable acts.

I happen to have received hundreds of mails containing barbaric insults expressed by the gangsters who support the evil and racist ‘Ethiopianist’ regime of Abyssinia and are in favour of the national and spiritual genocides performed against the subjugated and tyrannized Oromos, Afars, Sidamas, Oogadenis, Kambatas, Kaffas, Shekachos, Gedeos, Hadiyas, Agaw, Anuak, Nuer, Shinasha, Berta and Gumuz. I can therefore compare and see how devious the Riyaale gang members are and how much they have distanced themselves from their Noble Somali Historical and Cultural Heritage that overwhelmingly eclipses the pale Abyssinian past and, more particularly, the Amhara illiteracy, barbarism and cannibalism.

Continuing my reference to the aforementioned fallacy, I want also to deny the fictional agenda stated in the Saylac article. Of course, such meeting never took place, but I hereby deny that I have ever taken part in any meeting held anytime anywhere in order to "raise funds for Kulmiye".

It is true that in several articles of mine I supported the Kulmiye party either in the past or more recently. This comes out of my conviction that the leading personalities of Kulmiye are far more educated and more open minded people who understand Somalia’s interests far better than Riyaale’s gangsters and high traitors who want to preserve in Somalia a situation that serves only the world’s most criminal, most illegal, and most inhuman state, Abyssinia, the Amhara-ruling barbarism, and the Anti-Somali racism of the Abyssinians.

As for the last part of the fictional complot in which I was the only named person ( ! ? ), there is no need for comment and denial. It consists in a joke that can be easily detected by all. According to the Saylac fallacious report, part of the fictional agenda would have be the agreement that Kulmiye would offer bases to the ONLF in case of electoral victory…..

This falsehood was written by an Amhara hand and sent to the Saylac portal in a malicious way in order to be posted, without being properly examined and checked, and thence quoted and re-published; the ultimate target was Abyssinia’s worst enemy in Northern Somalia: the Kulmiye party itself.

Comically, the fallacious report indirectly depicts me as the representative of the ONLF in the fictional meeting. If there was no other ONLF participant, and yet, ONLF related issues were supposedly discussed, the average reader gets the impression that I represented ONLF.

I have to deny also this; it would certainly be a honor to originate from the western lands of Somalia and represent the victorious liberators of the occupied Ogaden, who have shaken the Abyssinian tyranny in their heroic land, but again this did not actually happen.

In addition, I believe that in the same way I don’t accept Somalia’s division, I would not support a secret meeting like that under any circumstances whatsoever. The way to Somali Unity is very far from secretive meetings – that are the only method the evil Amhara racists imagine as "politics" except the tyranny, the incommunicado, the imprisonment, the butcheries, the carpet bombings, the extra-judicial killings, and the genocides.

It is true that all the representatives of the parts of Somalia have to meet and set up a plan for the beleaguered nation’s reunification. This will not however occur with secretive meetings that are not the correct venue for honestly tackling past mistakes, effectively solving differences, and successfully launching common projects.

And the ONLF heroic fighters do not need bases in Somaliland before eliminating the Amhara gangsters from Ogadenl their brave heart and determination are the best weaponry – something that the treacherous Amharas have never had.

I still want to believe that the Saylac administration will realize how wrong it was for them to post something so fallacious, and how it terribly contradicted their promise (expressed in the section ‘About Us’ of their website – see below) to offer authenticated information.

I therefore call them to immediately remove the link and the anti-Somali pseudo-report. I believe this would testify to their respect for their readership. Useless to add, they should denounce the probably Amhara-bribed and certainly untrustworthy author of the disreputable fallacy, the London-based Mr. Maxamed Haji.
