The End at Last - Chapter 3

Will I have a white Christmas or a hot Christmas?
So it's beginning to snow here Maryland, finally after a couple of years with just cold weather! My parents finished the case 2 weeks ago figuring out that the 3 people weren't actually real, they were ghosts! Just kidding, they were foreign, you know from a different country, apparently the police translated wrong and said that the people's house burned down and were in pain. The police need to work on their translating, the foreign people said they needed a map and didn't know where to find one. Good translating guys!

Nick called last night at about 8 pm and talked about how wonderful his parents are: buying him a new iPhone, a new surfboard, his own car (once he gets his permit at least), and last but not least a plane ticket! An extra one! Nick then said that if my parents let me go to the Bahamas I could have the ticket! Wonderful, now all I need is the permission from my two parents, a rough choice, staying home another year, eating hospital food on Christmas or flying to the Bahamas and spending Christmas on a nice hot beach. The waves crashing with a slight breeze; all the seagulls crying for food and souring over the warm beach air. Going scuba diving with sea turtles, watching for sharks, and last but not least spending time with my best friend. The only friend I can trust for all my troubles, either in school or at home, he is always there for me.

Now it's my turn; my parents just got home from the hospital an hour ago and are fixing dinner for Sean and Lily. I told them that I was going out to watch a movie tonight: Angels in Hell. I told Nick last night that I would watch the movie; he said he loved all the graphics and scenes from heaven that you would expect to see in a movie with angels. Any who, I tiptoed downstairs to check on my parents since the movie wasn't until 10. Unfortunately I think they heard the creak in the stair well because I heard my dad stopped their conversation. He quickly jumped up from his chair and began walking at a rapid pace toward the stair well, I walked back upstairs to find Sean sitting at the top of the stairs watching my dad and me. My dad eventually found out that Sean was sitting at the top of the stairs when he cried "Dad Alexis is listening to you!!" such a tattle tale. My dad told Sean to crawl back into bed while I was grabbed and was walked down the stairs into the kitchen.

My mom stood up out of her chair, looking at me with the expression of "what is it this time?" I looked back at my dad and his face was the confused look. My mother finally asked "What do you want? And why were you spying on us?" I told my mother about how Nick asked me to go to the Bahamas with him for Christmas, but I told them as well that I would ask my parents first. My mother looked at me and said "Fine you can go on one condition..."
