The Empty Audience
The songs playing in the background
Strumming the guitar, making no sound
The worlds empty, everyone has gone
Just left here, singing my song
The empty audience appreciates the sound
At the end, an applause goes all around
Singing alone, no one to hear
Don't know which direction to now steer
I've scared away the ones I desire
To the point now where there returns are starting to tyre
I've pushed them out, far away
Hoping they dont return, that they don't stay
Though deep down, they are the ones i need
They help me plant my seeds
But no, I work alone, strumming along
Pretending to go on, forever strong
No sense of longing for anything now
Congratulations, now take a bow
