The Dormant Poet
The story of a Poet in a coma and how he went through a dark tunnel that muted the Poet that laid within him... enjoy*
His first girlfriend was out of her mind
She forced him to date her by her persuasion
called Committing Suicide
The only way to save her
Was to date her
And later on, learned to love her
Then a bag of pain hit
She was labeled as HIV Positive
Just after his feelings for her became un-negative
His heart & poetry went in stationary mode
It was the most pain in full he experienced as if his eyes
were about to explode
Now he struggles to write because the hurt dedicated
to her remains unsold
It seems as though every girl he dates
Has either been molested or raped
Which makes him wonder, ponder, about women these days
Have we all experienced this pain?
Yesterday, my friends inner poet
Was put in a coma without yet writing a sonnet.
Today, we together awaken that poet
And rise to be The Prominent Poet & poetess
Laureates
