The Diamond Drops in New York: 29
Sorry, so late! I was on vacation, and I wanted to actually sit down and write a good chapter! Hopefully those who wished Leah would show off her hot new boy to her messed up Ty, read ahead! (: Hopefully others read too...
"Kyle, please don't. He knows that he made a HUGE mistake." I threw the words out at him, like sharp knives.
"No Leah! He deserves this! He hurt you, and wasn't right." Kyle said shaken.
"You're right, it isn't right for him to do that! But us yelling at him more doesn't make us better people." I whispered in his ear.
"Let me do one thing..." He mumbled, his lips grazing over my ear. Tori gasped when she saw that.
"What?" I asked him. He didn't answer, instead, he just kissed my lips. I knew what he was doing. What his angle was. He was aiming straight for the jealousy, but as Ty's friend, why would he do that? Kyle and I were definitely not as close as Ty and him.
I got back to the kiss, and kept kissing him, his arms riding down the sides on my waist, and after about a minute, he looked back up at Ty.
"So are you jealous?" BINGO. He was jealous. The look on his face was unbearable. I felt like after everything, that look on his face could've won me over. But there was no giving in.
"I see what you're doing Kyle, and I'm not falling for it."
"Doing what?" Kyle asked completely clueless, although I knew he knew what he meant.
"Leah, please, can we talk? Without you two here?" He ignored Kyles question, and gesture for him and Tori to leave.
"What the hell do you think you're doing Ty?!" Tori shouted at him, and he stared at me, and he didn't bother turning around.
"I think that I'm trying to fix things with the one person I am actually in love with. You knew it Tori," Then he turned around, and I realized, that he was crying, "You knew the entire time that I loved her, and you just happened to pick me up that night! You got me completely drunk every other night you were lonely, and needed somebody to toy with!" That was when I started to get confused.
"Wait, what Ty? Tori?" Kyle sighed, and I had a feeling he knew what was going on.
"You can believe what you want to believe, alright Leah?" Slowly, I nodded, and let him proceed, "The night Tori picked me up, I was drunk. I was upset, and I didn't know what I was going that night. Everything after she picked me up was a blur! Then after that, she would call to, "hang out," and she always pushed for us to hookup!" Ty was crying, "I am in love with YOU Leah! YOU! NOT HER!" He shouted, accusingly pointing a finger at Tori, who also had tears in her eyes.
"How could you say that? I never forced it! If you really care about Leah, then you wouldn't have picked up the phone when I called!"
"So what was your point for calling? Because your boyfriend dumped you, you needed somebody to cling too! Well sorry, I'm taken!" Ty shouted at her, and Tori flinched, slowly sinking down under the covers.
"You are not taken. But I am. Goodbye." I whispered to him, and walked out of the door with Kyle following after me.
"That was hot..." He muttered to me, and I faked a laugh, and he wrapped one arm around my waist.
"Yeah... it was." I said and we walked down to the car. I knew for the next few months, there would be tears to no end....
I got home and Kyle went home to his house. He said that he would pick me up for dinner around 6:00. Our first official date. I smiled at the thought, then opened my door. The girls were sprawled across the couch, eating cereal. They seemed to be watching some Soap Opera. I walked over to my bedroom, and the girls quickly got up and followed me. Allie had fallen asleep in my bed.
"She figured you weren't coming back for the rest of the night." Lynne said, Allie was knocked out cold.
"She figured right." I said mischievously, and Lynne squealed. Something from lat night, maybe Lynne's behavior threw me off guard.
"One question Lynne. Did you know Ty had been cheating on me?" That was when Lynne turned white, and Aimee grasped my arm.
"What?! He's cheating? I thought he was the most faithful person in the world!" Aimee didn't seem to be joking, but I wanted to believe that was the truth.
"Yes he is, but I honestly want to pass on talking about it." I muttered, upset with everything that had happened.
"Um... well it was... I mean." Lynne finally tried to answer my question, but she was still pale white, it was like she had seen a ghost.
"What do you mean, 'um,'" I asked her slowly, and she started to get shaky. Her fingers were starting to fumble.
"I was being your friend, and Tori's!" Tori's friend?! How the hell did any of this make any sense?
"So you thought being my friend involved not telling me that my boyfriend was cheating on me?! How long have you known me, and had my trust, and how long have you been the same with Tori?" Anger was erupting in my voice, and I walked out to the kitchen, Aimee and Lynne followed.
"Yes, I guess that's what I thought! Okay, so maybe I was jealous that you were hanging out so much more with Allie and Aimee, so I became friends with Tori!" Jealousy couldn't have this big of an effect on our situation!
"Allie is pregnant! Are you honestly going to be stupid enough to put this on me now? If you were really my friend Lynne, you would have told me about Ty, AND you would have told me things were bothering you." Lynne shuddered at the disgust in my voice, then she walked towards me, and grabbed both her hands in mine.
"I'm sorry, forgive me, please. What I did was wrong, and next time, I'll think things through." Lynne shot me an apologetic glance, and then looked back down the floor.
"No, you need to understand that on your own, realize that you did wrong, and not have me tell you every time you mess up. Come back to talk things out with me when you grow up a little bit Lynne." I was being harsh, but she needed that, it would teach her a lesson. She grabbed her stuff from the couch, and put her shoes on. Without looking back at me, she walked out the door, and I glared after her...
