The Day I Gave You Away

Please comment....about giving away a kid ....(fiction)
Oh my god is all I can say
Because I was speechless the day I gave you away.
I cried every night,
Hoping God would end this fight I felt in my heart
The moment I saw you I loved you with all my heart
It took everything for the nurses to keep us apart,
Because from the start, you were attached to my heart
I cried everyday because I had to give you away,
Because I had to give you away,
Because you would be harmed by me if you stayed
And that I just couldn’t take,
You are apart of me night and day
Every time I hear a baby cry I realize my mistake,
That cost you a happy life
And my death was on this day
The day I gave you away…
