The Creatori 1
By the author of Decisions What’s going on? Callie’s just turned 16. But things are weird. On her way home she finds out that two of the neighbor's sheep have gone missing. No big deal right? But then she finds them outside her house, dead. Then upstairs in her bedroom, there’s a beautiful man sitting on her bed. Callie’s life is turned upside down as she finds out she is part of a species know as Creatori.
Megan eyes fluttered open and she looked up into the very red eyes of Jordan. He grinned evilly, grabbed her from her bed and slung her over his shoulder. She pounded her fists on his back and shouted for him to put her down. But it was useless; her tiny fists did no damage to his granite body and she was still very sluggish from her disturbed sleep. He stepped out onto her balcony and flew over it, landing on the balls of his feet in the garden. Megan stopped screaming and started shivering instead. She was only wearing a tank top and shorts, it was freezing outside and the coldness radiating of Jordan was so not helping. The next thing she knew, she was in the back of a car and her arms were being pinned down by a female vampire she didn’t recognize. She started shrieking again but the vampire covered her mouth with her hand, holding both Megan’s hands in the other. As the car sped off, she cursed Max for being out hunting, instead of watching over her like usual.
Excerpt from Callie’s Notebook 19, year 2004 (aged11)
Callie picked up her old unicorn Mystic, kissed her once then shoved her into the black bag.
Today was her 16th birthday. And to celebrate her maturity, she was getting rid of anything, well, immature. She had promised she was only going to keep Mrs Tibs, the pink bear that was the size of a St. Bernard. She stopped, pulled her hair back into a ponytail and continued. The amount of junk she had was incredible; she couldn’t believe some of the things she found. Like the giant singing flower that was shoved under her bed, the baby buggy that was missing two of it’s wheels and the big collage of Robert Pattinson. It took her an hour to collect everything and then she lugged it downstairs into Gina’s car. They were waiting for Mikaela to finish getting her’s and then driving it all to Oxfam.
Callie trumped back upstairs to get a jacket and noticed her pink safe, tucked at the back of her wardrobe. She grunted as she pulled it out: it was heavy! She dumped it on her bed and sat down next to it. She tried her birth year 1992, but it didn’t open. She tried Gina’s 1978 but it still wouldn’t open. What was it? She furrowed her brow and tried to remember. Then it came to her. Robert Pattinson was her addiction as a young teen, she pushed in 1986 and it opened. With a triumphant cry she pulled the thick pile of notebooks out.
They were numbered and dated. From notebook one 2003 (she was eight) to notebook forty 2008 (she was fifteen). She skipped through them till she got to the 2007 notebooks. She pulled one out, lay back on her bed and started to read. She had only got through one short story before Gina called up the stairs and told her they were leaving. She contemplated bringing it with her, but then chucked it back on her bed and ran downstairs.
The notebook on her bed started glowing. It shuddered for a few seconds and then stopped. It was eerily quiet for a moment, before a hand reached up from the floor and grabbed the side of Callie’s bed.

Guys, you might see in certain excerpts that Callie describes some things exactly as Stephanie Meyer. But that’s only because as a younger girl she didn’t really understand the concept of making your own choices, plagiarism and using your own descriptions etc etc. So it’s her, not me. Also, this is not a vampire story, it just has vampires in it. It's my own mix :) Enjoy.
