Dyson has been around for over 14 years and is a recognized brand. The build quality is rugged; ABS and polycarbonate are used for the casing, by the manufacturers. However, there are some negatives too. These Cleaners are a bit heavy. The Dyson DC07 model has a high clearance; because of this getting under furniture, such as beds and dressers is a little difficult.
