The Circle of Life

It depends on how you look at it...
The Circle of Life
You are born
And granted at least 100 years of life.
Teenage years are spent partying
And being with friends.
There is no time for sorrow.
At 20 you consider the world is yours
And you'll live forever.
At 30 a determination arises to do more
To be more.
At 40 family, work and stress
Have you at wits end.
And then...
Your 50th birthday
Realization half my life is over.
However life goes no
Love, happiness as well.
And once again
I'm immortal I'll live forever
And so the circle goes round.
