The Chronicles of the Ultimate Hero 1: Remake

Chapter 1

"Aren’t the stars beautiful tonight?" Christina said, looking up at the night sky. "Yeah they are" I replied, smiling at her. We kept walking through the dirt path in the woods and all of the nocturnal animals were starting to come out. "So where exactly are we going?" Christina asked." I have no idea, I’m just going along with the flow" I said to her, looking at the shadows on the ground.

"Well ok then, but if we get lost, I’m going to smack you" she told me. I laughed alittle "Oh I’m so scared" I said sarcastically. She looked at me and pressure pointed my neck until I almost passed out. "ok. OK!" I yelled out in pain. She pulled her hand back and smiled. I held my neck and made a bunch of noises out of pain. Christina walked over to me and hugged me "Awww, did I hurt you?" she asked with love and care in her voice. "N...no I’m fine" I said, trying to sound alright. We started walking again when Christina stopped me "I know a really cool place, follow me!" she urged with joy in her voice. She grabbed my hand and started running, so I had no choice but to follow.

When we stopped running about five minutes later, and we both were out of breath when we stopped. I looked around and saw a pond with a bunch of colorful fish in it and a bench in front of the pond. "We should sit down" Christina suggested. "Ok sure" I said. We both sat down on the bench next to eachother and stayed silent for about a minute when she put her hand on my hand and smiled. I could feel my face turning red. She kept moving closer and closer to me. A million thoughts were racing through my head, and I just didn’t know what to do. She moved her head closer to mine and just as our lips were about to touch, we both heard a loud screech of tires somewhere nearby.

I jumped out of the bench with Christina by my side 'What was that!?" I asked. "I don’t know" she replied with a panicked look on her face. We looked around when I saw a pair of headlights racing towards us with great speed. I pushed Christina out of the way and jumped to the side and a black van stopped right where we were standing. Four men in black suits came out of the van towards me and grabbed my arms. "Let go of me!" I yelled out at them, pulling my arm free and elbowing one in the stomach and punching another in the nose. Christina was on the ground, trying to figure out what was going on and I yelled at her "Run! Go Now!" She got up and yelled at me "NO! I’m not leaving without you!" We saw one of the men take out a pistol and I told her "Ill be fine, just go!" This time she listened and ran away through the trees to safety.

Two of them grabbed my feet and another two grabbed my arms and threw me into the van. I kept fighting them and one punched me in the stomach and said "Ok I guess were gonna do this the hard way" and hit me over the head with something hard and everything went black.....
