The Catskill Mountains

What could be more pleasant then a childhood spent in the country?
Summer childhoods in the country
In the Catskills where the mountains
Rise high toward the sky.

Running barefoot under tall pine trees
Playing in sun warmed sand.
Swims in the lake in the shadow
Of the Catskills rising high
Toward the sky.
