Chapter 26

Jennifer slowly awoke. She opened her eyes to find herself in warm, foamy water in a circular tub. She was surrounded by women, maids in pink robes. There were four of them and they all had their hoods off, showing their pretty faces. They stopped whispering when her eyes opened and they talked in their language. Jennifer felt hands all around her, scrubbing her, washing her in the water. That's when she realized she was naked.

Jennifer screamed and began to thrash around. She was in shock and embarrassed that these complete strangers had seen her body. The hands held her firmly in the water and the women began to talk in soothing voices. Eventually, Jennifer calmed down.

The door opened and in walked the red head in the black robe. Jennifer's whole body flushed even more and she submerged herself further under water. The red head smiled and walked up to the edge of the tub. "Do not be ashamed, little one. You are quite beautiful. You have nothing to be ashamed of." Jennifer felt a little better but still uncomfortable. She asked, "W-w-where are my clothes?"

"You will get them back soon. In the meantime, why don't you just relax and enjoy your bath?" Jennifer gritted her teeth and fought temptation. The warm water and whatever soap feel soothing. With the maids not only bathing her, but massaging her, it was easy to relax and even go back to sleep.

"N-no! I want my clothes now!" She said and the maids released her. "Very well then." Said the red head. She then said something to the maids and they pulled their hoods over their heads and left. The red head then sat down on the side of the tub.

"They will return with your robe and clothes in just a moment." Jennifer covered her breasts with her arms and asked, "D-do you have a name I can call you or something?" The red head tenderly brushed a strand of wet hair from Jennifer's face and said, "Yes dear, I do have a name. My name is Celia."

The maids returned with a white robe and undergarments. "We will leave you to dress. Once you are dressed, knock on the door." Said Celia and she and the maids left.

As Jennifer dressed she became lost in thought. Were these people really the "good guys"? Were they telling the truth? Yes, Mojo had tried to killed her, but why? What was it about this book and herself? What if these people were right? And if they were, what were their plans for her?

Jennifer dressed and knocked on the door. The door was opened by Celia and Jennifer walked out of the bathroom. As they made their way down a white hall and up white stairs, Jennifer thought of what she would ask next. When they were up the stairs, she asked, "What about the book?" Celia shook her head and said, "That is not for me to answer. However, our master would be glad to answer your questions. This time, he intends on answering all of your questions."

Jennifer was lead through the castle and into a lounge like room. In the middle of the room, on a platform, was lounge furniture. In one of the couches lay Prince Nim. He lay with his eyes closed and on both sides of him stood maids fanning him with large white feathers.

They approached and Celia bowed to her knees as the Prince opened his blue eyes. He sat up and gestured with his hand for the fans to stop and they did. He spoke in English. "Speak my servant." She did, without raising her head. "Master, everything is going according to plan. I have word from my husband that the preparations for the ceremony are underway." "Excellent," He replied and with his gaze on Jennifer said, "You may leave now. You have done well." Celia rose and left the room, leaving Jennifer in his hands.

He smiled at her, showing off his long fangs and white teeth, and Jennifer flushed. He gestured for her to come up to him. Jennifer hesitated. She wanted more answers, but she hadn't expected the incident that had happened in the garden. What if her body began acting funny again? She swallowed and began to ascend the stairs. She would just have to take a chance. She would get her answers and it depended on the answers if she would try to escape...

The maids had been commanded to start fanning again and they were once again fanning their prince. The prince placed his feet on the floor but remained sitting on the couch and gestured for Jennifer to sit on the couch to his right. As she sat down, he said something loudly and clearly and two of his maids not on the platform left the room. The maid fanning him on the right began fanning Jennifer.

"You still do not trust us." He said to her. Jennifer thought for a moment and said, "No I do not, but I no longer trust Mr. Mojo either." Suddenly, the doors opened and in came the two maids. Both of them carried platters, one with fruits and the other with cups and a pitcher. The maids came up on the platform and the prince gestured saying, "We shall eat and drink while we talk. We have much to discuss."

Chapter 27

Some more questions are answered.

The prince grabbed a fruit or plant off the platter, a heart shaped red one. The other maid poured the drinks and handed the cups to the prince and Jennifer. The two maids then took their places nearby, one with the platter and the other one ready to refill the cups.

Jennifer took a sip of the drink. It was very thick, but delicious. She swallowed and asked him as he took a bite of the fruit, "Where are we?" "We are here in what you humans call "Limbo". It is the realm between heaven and earth. We are inside of my castle." Jennifer ate a grape and asked her next question. "Agent Mojo told me about this book. What's so special about it?"

"Ah, The Book of The New Earth". The Prince leaned back. "It is indeed a special book. It begins the creation of the new world, the new earth." "The new earth?" "Yes. The old earth will pass away and a new one shall begin. The Book of the New Earth will not only create The New Earth, but it will establish the true laws." Jennifer took another sip.

"Is Agent Mojo alive? Why did you bring my kitten here?" "Yes, the man is alive... for now. He will be one of the sacrifices needed to see the words of The Book of the New Earth. Your kitten belongs here with us. She is the little guardian of the book. She lead us to the book's location." Jennifer gasped. "You mean... my kitten is special?!" "Yes, a guardian was assigned to the book. It is prophecy that you and the guardian would have a special relationship and you did. She was your beloved pet and you her beloved owner."

Jennifer took a big drink and asked, "So let me get this straight. I am a Princess, chosen to rule this "New Earth" with you. You are a prince, the son of a Goddess, who is the creator of everything and the person I pray to. Agent Mojo is going to be sacrificed to see the words of this book. So really, the world is ending and it's all because of a book." "Not all because of a book, because my mother wills it. The time has come for that world to end and for the eternal one to begin." The prince finished the fruit and said, "Yes, all of that is correct."

Jennifer finished the drink and shook her head when the maid tried to refill her cup. Before she could fully digest the information, the prince said, "There's more. You see, you and the sacrifices must be prepared for the ceremony to open the book. Your bodies, minds, and souls will be prepared." "Sacrifices? There's another one?" "Yes, the monster who tried to rape you. He will be sacrificed as well." An image of her mother's boyfriend flashed in her mind.

Jennifer shook her head and said, "I refuse to get "Prepared" for this ceremony. I don't want to do it. What would I have to do anyway?" There was a strange look in the prince's eyes, but Jennifer didn't notice it. "You would simply have to shed a little blood to open the book. You will do it and you will enjoy every minute of it. It and being mine is what you were created for."

The Prince stood up and took a few steps till he was standing before her. That's when Jennifer saw that his eyes were dark blue again. He took the cup from her and placed his and her cup on the platter. "You will not only be prepared to shed the necessary blood to open the book, but you will also be prepared for our wedding ceremony." He leaned down in front of her till they were face to face. She wanted to turn away, to run away but couldn't. All she could do is look into his eyes.

He cupped her chin and whispered against her mouth. "7 days. That is the time we have and the time we are given. I will ask you to marry me on the 7th day and you will say yes. In the meantime, you will be prepared." Jennifer somehow managed to say, "And what if I say no?" The Prince smiled and said, "Oh, you will say yes." "No, I will not! You'll have to rape me!" She was trembling very badly now. He turned her head back to face him and he said, his lips brushing hers, "I will not rape you, but there is no law against seduction." He kissed her.

The kiss was very passionate but gentle. Jennifer fought it, but he was a patient lover. Gradually she gave in and closed her eyes to enjoy the kiss. When the kiss ended, she was a breathless and trembling mass. The Prince looked down at her and smiled. Jennifer began to feel her eyes flood with tears. He had already won the first round, with ease. "No." He said and cupped the side of her face. "Do not cry. What just happened was special and beautiful. You will find that I am right once you stop fighting and enjoy yourself."

Jennifer closed her eyes. She needed time to think and absorb what was happening and the answers to her questions. The prince gave her this time. She felt the warmth of his hand disappear from her face and he said, "Relax here. Celia will come for you at dinner time. You have plenty of time to think. I will see you at dinner."

She kept her eyes closed and kept them closed through the sound of his footsteps going away from her. She opened them at the sound of the doors shutting. He was gone. Jennifer sighed and lay back. She had to think. What was she going to do? It was then a plan began to form in her mind.
