The Blood Monsoon

Depression leading to self harm...
All the blood betrays,
What the heart portrays,
The loss in life leads,
To the increased needs,
For faith that this world,
Is a beauty to behold,

A single tear opens the vein,
And as the fluid falls like rain,
I realize my time is soon,
I’ve started the blood monsoon,

The storm in my head thunders and roars,
My confidence crippled while self hate soars,
I’m not worthy of this woman I was found wanting,
Lightning strikes burning with desire,
The love inside started a destructive fire,

My mind is left as ash and I find the only way,
Is to drown the flames with blood and tears and say,
"I can’t believe you care as you said,
It’s not the same I am just about dead,
You say you still care for me,
But that’s just not what I see."
