The Blind Angel 15

A Brother? Then a war...
He turned around and said, "I didn’t blend in did I…well I came to look after you so you don’t get in to trouble and to tell you something."

"No, if you shrunk then you could blend in… and what would you need to tell me?"
"This is going to sound crazy but, I’m your brother."

"It’s true. Shay told me himself and he had proof," Shiva

"Why didn’t you tell me, and if you are my brother then what’s with the cloak?"

"I didn’t tell you because you wouldn’t have believed me then with out some one else to confirm it, and since you can see I can show you what I look like," and with that he took off his cloak. Kaire gasped, right in front of her in all black stood Jet. Kaire stood there dumfounded with her mouth wide open. All she could do is stare at the boy who once threatened to kill her. Jet put his hand under her chin and closed her mouth and at once it was open but now Kaire was stuttering to find words and all she got out was, "b-but you, Devesy, c-canyon, threaten, k-kill…"

"I was only trying to kill you then because… well remember when I said that I am a mirshann. That’s true, but what you don’t know is that I’m a death angel. I was born a death angel so I don’t have a fate of having to kill a given angel. As long as I can control the demand that is with in me, and at that point in time I had yet to master it so it was trying to get me to kill you," Shadow/Jet explained.

Kaire didn’t say any thing just looked around the room until she saw Colleen. Kaire walked up to Colleen and said, Shay said you can give my memories back. Please let me have them now."

"No, I won’t give them to you because if I did then you still mite be tempted to kill Shay," Colleen said none to kindly then added, "plus you demanded." It was silent as every one stared at Kaire wondering what she would do next. Jet walked over to were Kaire now stood and asked, "Are you ok?" Kaire took a deep breath and answered calmly, Yes, I was just so amazed and a bit confused, but I think I’m ok."

Colleen then flew up to Kaire holding a bottle filled with white liquid. "I won’t give you your memories but I will give you your powers," Colleen said handing Kaire the bottle. Kaire then opened the bottle, witch was as big as her finger, and was about to tip it in to her mouth when Colleen stopped her. "You don’t drink it. You pour it on to your self." Kaire looked incredulously at Colleen but did as she was told. The liquid was like soft silk when Kaire poured it over her head, and when it was all on her she realized that she wasn’t wet.

Kaire then looked at her self, in a mirror, and noticed that she glowed. Then the glow vanished and Kaire was just her self again. She didn’t even fill any difference. Then a faire came rushing out of the bush that Kaire stood beside and went strait to the queen. "Your majesty, Akasha is done building up her army and she is marching today," the tiny faire said. The faire was in all green but didn’t have green hair, so Kaire guessed that he was just a spy.

Then the queen turned to Kaire and asked, "If I give you an army will you lead it. Will you fit for us and help us stop the dragons?" Kaire didn’t think because she knew that she owed the faire queen and Kaire immediately said, "I will do any think to protect you and your forest."

Then a faire by the name of Rose came, by the queen’s demand, and took Kaire to get armed.

Chapter 6: The Battle

Kaire sat on the bed, which she was given for her stay with the fairies. Kaire was dressed in light armor so she could move around easily. She had two holes in the back of the armor for her wings, which she had yet to get out. The armor was a breath taking white with gold trimming. Colleen came in and seen Kaire looking glum. "What’s wrong?"

"Well let’s see. I’m going to war, I don’t know how to use any magic, I can’t get my wings to come out, and a few hours ago I learn that I have a brother," Kaire said talking faster as she said this.

"Well I know how you fill about the war. This is my first time to. The magic you already know so it will come to you naturally, when you need it. As for the wings I can help you with those, but I’m afraid you will have to deal with the brother problem your self."

Kaire looked at Colleen, who was now parched on Kaire’s bed post. "I know how I get my wings, but am I ready to bring them out? I mean do I have enough strength?"

"Yes, you do know that you have your magic. Once you have your wings out you will be able to bring them out when ever you want so long as you have strength. If you know what to do to bring them out then lets do this." And with that Kaire lay on her bed and went to sleep.

(She was dreaming) she was on a cliff, again, looking over a battle filed. The ground was littered with dead bodies. Blood splattered every thing except Kaire. The earth started to shake but Kaire didn’t wait for the ledge to brake off this time. She ran foreword and jumped off. She started to fall and fast and like always she didn’t fill any thing. Then there was the burst of pain and one wing came out but now she was almost to the ground, she wasn’t going to make it. Then just ten feet off the ground the other wing came out and slowly she stopped one foot from touching the ground. All she concentrated on was her wings then slowly the seen disappeared.

Kaire woke up and she could tell that she had slept for more then an hour because the light out side subjected that it was ether dawn or dusk. Kaire got up and the first thing that she noticed was that it was harder to get up then before. She looked behind her and there on her back were two identical, silky gray, wings. The girl then looked around the room to see if Colleen was still there, and to her disappointment, she wasn’t. Kaire then got out of bed and hurried out of the room. The first person she saw was her brother. He was sitting on a tree stump talking to Colleen. They both had armor on and Jet had a sword at his side. When Kaire came out they both looked up and smiled. Kaire stretched her wings and walked over to them. "The army is assembled. They are all waiting for your orders," Jet said with a grin on his face.

"Why didn’t you wake me? We could have already been marching."

"Because you needed the sleep and the rest for strength," Colleen stated then, Jet, tossed Kaire a loaf of bread and a piece of meat then handed her a cup of juice. Then they got everything together and on Kaire’s signal headed east towards Skarta.

The battle had been going on for more then three hours now and there was still no sign of Akasha. Kaire was up against a blue pandyl that looked oddly familiar. Then she remembered that this was the same dragon that had blinded her with acid. "Still alive I see," it sneered, "it was a mistake to let you go. Akasha now wishes that she never let you get away. Then she could have taken over the land if she wanted and you would be her servant." Kaire didn’t waste any time on this pandyl and quickly blasted it apart. Then she saw her. Right in between a black dragon and a red dragon, that looked like her father, but wasn’t, was Akasha and she was heading right this way.
