Simply put I want to do this piece about search engine optimization, SEO or online marketing. I ran my own business for three years without a clue what it was and the way it could help my business. This in turn made it easier for individuals searching for the subject I was selling to find me with fairly generic phrases for the topic. What I then had to do was work on the off site stuff to make sure that individuals that had sites that were involved in the type of thing I do linked back to me in a relevant way that again strengthened the importance to the search engines.

By doing this in the right way the rise in traffic was large once I used a firm to correct my website and implement a proper off site campaign my inquiries went through the roof, discover as much as you can about the subject before hiring a firm and when you do make sure you watch your statistics to see that you are being provided with a decent return on your investment.
