The Attitude From Within

Never back stab your friends; it takes months to make one and seconds to lose one.
When it comes direct from another friend
Which one friend will drop their shield
There's no need for jealousy or even pretend
Circumstances says it's time for them to take yield
I feel it rubbing the wrong way coming from
My perspective, playing the blame game- whose fault
Knowing they like to see everyone totally feel dumb
They use their defenses like a grain of salt
Oh how I wanted to blow smoke back in their face
How to keep the friendship from breaking
Only if they would have confronted me in the first place
Showing how I am really honest in the making
Questions arise as they push the wrong buttons
Having much to say wanting to give only moral advice
Standing my ground I feel they are more of a glutton
Will they will come around, after they thought about it twice
The truth I have all to bare and no denial
