The Anointed One - Chapter 2
Angels P.O.V....do comment on how you feel about the story. The dress is what Angel is wearing to the party.

Its good to be finally back home. I don't have much time before the boys come crashing in. I missed them. Not that I should considering the number of times Zac called me a day. I had to convince my mom to let me go early for Zacs final recording which was a very tough thing to do, might I add. I swear sometimes mom can be so unreasonable. She knows how important my friends are to me but she is always like 'You spend less time with us' and 'what's the rush for going back.' Don't get me wrong, I love my mother to pieces it's just that...well she can be a little unreasonable at times. I don't blame her though. She was looking forward to spending some quality mother daughter time and I just blew it off for Zac. Well I will make him pay for that. I hope Mark hasn't lost it yet. He always complains when I leave him to Zacs mercy. Zac has a habit of making people's lives miserable if you don't let everything happen the way he wants to.
Ding. I guess they are finally here. As I opened my door, Zac enveloped me in a tight bear hug. "I missed you like hell Angy," he whispered in my ear. Then he stepped away and gave me a once over. "Mrs. Shawn fed you well. You look fat." He smirked. "No I don't!" I gave him an angry look. "Where is Mark?" "I am here Angel."Mark said coming up behind Zac. "We met Sam on our way and unlike some people I was polite enough to ask about his health." He shot a glance at Zac while saying so "lets go out for dinner." And then added in a whisper "I am sure your fridge is as empty as Zacs brain." "Hey I heard that!"and then we all started laughing.
"Fancy dinner. It must be expensive." I remarked as we were sitting waiting for the meal to arrive. "I like to spend my money on you. You got a problem with that? No, don't answer that. I know you do." Zac smiled "I really missed you Ang." "Me too. So what happened to Mark? He left in a hurry." I asked chewing on to my Lasania. "He had to make some arrangements for the recordings. And we will leave straight for the studio from here. You ok with that?" "Sure." As I sat there finishing up my food that sick feeling I have been having for some time came rushing back to me. It was like everything was going to end. Why was I having this feeling? What was wrong with me? I guess I would know the answer when the time was right. For now I should just pay attention to the present. And that's what I did. I looked at Zac and saw him concentrating on his food. Which only meant he was deep in thought. Well that was a good thing considering how the girls around were staring at him with open mouth. They made me sick. I swear if Zac turned around now and gave them his dazzling smile, these girls would be dropping dead right, left and center.
Tonight we are celebrating. Zac told Mark to meet us up at the bar. Right now he is sitting in the lounge waiting for me, settling to watch TV after tenth time I told him I wasn't ready yet. I looked into the mirror. I was wearing a full length black dress that showed all my right curves. It looked marvelous on me and I accessorized it with a diamond pendant and earrings that Zac gave me for my birthday. Let my hair loose, applied some make-up and gave myself a final once over. If I were being honest to myself I would say I looked beautiful. Contented with how I looked I went into the lounge and told Zac I was ready. He turned around saying "Thank God! I thought you.." but stopped in mid-sentence. He sucked in a sharp breath and stared at me wide-eyed. "Zac you ok?" "What? oh...nothing...I was just...um...you look...beautiful!" he stuttered. Zac stuttered. For the first time in his life! I wonder what was up with that. He turned away quickly and went out to wait for me in the car. I locked my apartment and got into the car. All our way to the bar he didn't utter a single word. Now he was making me really nervous.
The bar was crowded. Most of the people were either stars or from elite class. When we entered, Zac excused himself saying he had to meet a few people. I was getting the feeling that he was somehow trying to avoid me. I passed that thought away thinking it was really stupid. Why would he avoid me? I tried to keep myself busy by meeting the people I knew. Zac always brought me to his parties so I knew quite a lot of people around here. Later as I made my way towards the drink stand to get some water (Did I mention I am against all sorts of hard drinks? The only thing they do is make even the most decent people vile) Anyway where was I? Oh yeah I was moving towards the drink stand when I heard someone call my name.
I turned around to see Jack. He was a famous musician and I had first met him when he and Zac were having a concert together. He was 25 and really handsome with his blonde hair reaching almost covering his eyes and had a perfect build. I had a thing for him some time ago. But he was a total flirt and had the biggest ego I think a man can ever have. So I tried to keep out of his way. Well I guess I wasn't so lucky today. "Hello gorgeous! You look absolutely stunning." he complimented giving me his beautiful lop-sided smile. "Thanks. You look good too" I said. What? I was being polite with the air-head. Well that was me. I couldn't be rude to anyone. "Can I have a dance with you?" he asked extending his hand and bowing a little. "Sure." then we went to the dance floor. The music turned to a slow song and Jack pulled me in. Then before I had a chance to know what was happening he bent a little and his lips met mine. But before I could get a chance to respond in any way strong hands grabbed Jack and pushed him away from me with force.
